Our Services
What We Do
Dry Needling
Myofasical dry needling is a tool used by Myotherapists to work deep into the muscle layers. Using acupuncture needles, therapist will insert the needle into a hyper irritable spot called a trigger point. These trigger points may be causing referral pain or tenderness.
Cupping
Is a technique where vacuum seal suction cups are applied to the patients skin. The suction lifts the skin away from the muscle allowing increased cellular waste production. Adding a gliding motion up and down the skin allows the cups to lengthen muscle tissue and break up fascial adhesions.
Deep Tissue Massage
Using a range of manual massage techniques to manipulate and treat your bodies soft tissue. Helping to relieve pain and enhance patients recovery through increased blood flow to damaged tissue.
Joint Mobilisations
Performing passive back and forth movements to joint without full manipulation to restore optimum movement of the joint. This technique allows the joint to move through better range of motion.
Corrective Exercises
Providing patients with some corrective exercise or at home self care will increase strength and enable recovery from pathology to be enhanced. Education is vital for client to be able to manage condition at home to the best of their ability.

What our clients say
EXCELLENT Based on 23 reviews Posted on Athena DoumasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've been training and using Meg’s services for at least 12 months now and I could not be happier! Meg is full of knowledge around correct exercise procedures and monitors my progress like a hawk! I love her attention to detail, her guidance, expertise and techniques. She takes the time to understand what my personal health challenges and goals are and works with me to achieve these. If the need arises, we adjust my weekly training session to meet what is happening in my body – nothing is ever too difficult for Meg. She’s a keeper and I’m grateful that I have the privilege to train with her. Could not recommend her enough!Posted on KATrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've worked with Meg both as a trainer and myotherapist. She is terrific. Friendly, professional and absolutely helps me keep my back in check. Definitely the best myotherapist I've seen. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.Posted on Vicky DoumasTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I've been working with Meg for the last 2+ years as my personal trainer. In the past I attended gyms & worked out myself, but having a great personal trainer makes all the difference. As you get older, you succumb to health & body issues. With Meg's background of being a Myotherapist, it has helped out in creating a workout plan for me to strengthen weak & trouble areas. My strength has increased dramatically. Little tweaks when working out, makes all the difference. You actually feel the difference in the muscle. She doesn't push you to the point where you injure yourself. She always checks with you, especially when strength training. I have seen a huge change in my body shape & also my energy levels. I can't go a week without, at least, fitting 3 sessions in. I've also had Myotherapy sessions with Meg to assist in post workout. These also give another dimension of releasing any tight muscles, to provide greater flexibility. I recently went on an overseas trip whereby we did lots of walking, climbing hills & steps, and found this quite easy to manage, plus carting around suitcases & bags. Thanks Meg for everything.Posted on Kelly CooperTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been training with Meg for 2 years since the Aptus gym opened. Meg has an incredible knowledge of the body with her training in Myotherapy which comes through during our sessions together. Meg has introduced me to new and challenging work outs and I’ve discovered muscles I didn’t know I had! I have gained so much confidence with my workouts and turning up to work out on my own which has always been a barrier for me. On a personal note, Meg is super friendly and we always have a great chat which make my sessions fly by!Posted on JonoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Meg is a sensational Myotherapist! Been working with her whenever Ive had some minor sport related injuries/niggles that I wanted addressed. She's super professional, punctual, does a great job on helping mend my body and providing advice on what I could to help sort out my problems/faster recovery process. Highly recommend!Posted on Annemaree GibsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Meg is fantastic, she has built my confidence in the gym. I am now feeling stronger and with her guidance and amazing myotherapy skills repairing old injuries ☺️Posted on Ami TanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I haven’t stepped foot in a gym for more than a decade and after having kids I just had continuous weight gain. I sought help and Meg is just the right person to help me. She keeps me on track. She makes my training fun by changing my program & keeps me on the rails. She listens and tailors her plan to my needs. She does all these without being pushy. Now I’m running, I’m stronger & I’m happy with how my weight is tracking. I couldn’t have done all these without her. Would highly recommend Meg’s services!Posted on Connie EpsteinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been a patient of Meg Gibson since she started her practice. She is very professional and knowledgeable and she had eased muscle pain using massage, dry needling and other methods. Before starting treatments she assessed my body and where tightness or pain exists and takes detailed notes. After treatment she offers a range of exercises to help maintain flexibility. Meg is always friendly and from my perspective never over services. I have recommended friends to see Meg and she is always flexible with appointment days times.Posted on Jesse McCulloughTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
